Bokura Ga Ita (We Were There) : Yano and Nanami <3


Hey all ! I'm sorry, I'm not really around DA these days, but I'm so busy T_T ... I've recently discovered Bokura Ga Ita and it was love at first sight. XD. It's probably one of my favorite series (manga and anime) now.
You know, I'm rather modest generally speaking but I'm really proud of this one. To be honest, I didn't know I could do something like that. XD ... I chose the original scan from the manga because there were a lot of details and I wasn't sure I could do something cute.
[ I know, BGI wasn't on my listing but when I found it, I fell in love ... ! *apologizing* ]

I'd say that the hardest part was the hair. Too much details. Plus the textures (I made the thing on Yano's t-shirt with a photoshop brush and several effects, the other textures are from a website). The choice of colors was a bit difficult but I took a screenshot from the anime - which was easier xD.

This is simply perfect ^^

The texture on her shirt looks great, and the background is amazing. Also the lighting looks awesome, and you used wonderful colours. But the part I like the most, is definately the hair. It's so detailed, and the choise to use white for the outlines is excellent. :)

You're improving a lot with each vector you make ;)
